Coronation Celebrations

We were delighted that over 40 people attended our Coronation Celebration Afternoon Tea on the Bank Holiday Monday.  The people who came were a mixture of church members, families, and friends from the community, and a wonderful time was had by all!

Everyone enjoyed a delicious selection of sandwiches, crisps, scones, cakes and trifles.  They were also entertained by a Quiz, screen shots of King Charles's Coronation and other royal events including a Community Sing-a-long.  There was also much amusing participation in the Raffle and Tombola.

With the proceeds from the Coronation Celebration and other recent events we were able to send donations to "Tents for Lent" and "Crisis" – both homeless charities.
Overall, the Coronation Celebration was a very happy, sucessful and caring event.
