Sprotborough Road Methodist church is very much a community church.  It meets in the Goldsmith Community Centre for Sunday worship and in homes for the other activities of the church.  Sunday worship is very informal with the congregation sitting in a circle rather than rows which give a great feeling of “family”.  The worship is contemporary in style and good use is made of Multimedia projection, although books are available for those who prefer print!  The church is Evangelical in theology and practice, it runs regular Alpha Courses and seeks to serve the community in which it is placed.
