Finance and Property Officer

Tina is a cradle Methodist and grew up in the Middle East and India. After graduating from business school in India, she came to the UK on a gap year in 2003, to work in Doncaster at the then Hexthorpe Methodist Church. She spent the year supporting ex-offenders, refugees, asylum seekers. In the process she learnt valuable lessons which no business school could have taught her. At the end of her gap year, she felt God had transformed her life and felt a clear calling to ministry in a lay capacity. She then went to Cliff College; after gaining a Masters in Mission and Ministry, she went on to work in a variety of fixed term contracted jobs either as a pastor, a lecturer or an operations manager. Tina is happy and proud of her eclectic career and parallel vocations that have provided her with opportunities to travel worldwide, befriend and work alongside people from diverse communities and experience different cultures.

Life came a full circle for her as only God had would ordained it, she returned to Doncaster in 2021 eventually taking on the role of finance and property office for Doncaster Methodist Circuit.

Tina works part time, 3 days a week. When not working, she can be found writing assignments or at a placement as part of her latest pursuit to become an accredited psychotherapist.

She is passionate about mental health and emotional wellbeing. She believes that administration is a spiritual gift and considers her calling to finance and property management as a means to facilitate whole life discipleship and ministry.

Her interests include, cinema (Bollywood), poetry, food and fashion.
