Summer Weather!

The weather experienced by Adwick Methodists on Saturday 15th July 2023 (St Swithin's Day) on the occasion of their Summer Fair was in complete contrast to that experienced on their Summer Fair a year earlier – a warm sunny day with the Tuesday following having the highest English temperature on record.
We are very grateful to our Social Committee, all who worked in the kitchen, on the stalls and all who came and supported us in spite of the inclement weather.
Special mention must be made of John and Kathleen, who kindly borrowed the gazebo from the Doncaster Methodist Circuit so that they and Keith could give us a splendid barbecue fit for the Garden Parties at Buckingham Palace!
A wonderful occasion was crowned by a record financial result of £702.40. Thank You.
