Bawtry Chapel 120 year Anniversary

Over the weekend of 3rd – 4th June 2023, friends at Bawtry Methodist Church celebrated their 120 year anniversary. A tremendous milestone!Celebrations began with a coffee morning on the Saturday which was attended by many.
On Sunday morning at 10.30 – a service was taken by Pastor Alice Curry which celebrated the past, the present and the future of Bawtry Methodist Church. It was heartening to see so many turn out to join in the celebrations. The sun was out and shining through the stained glass windows, hymns were sung with gusto and we were nearly dancing in the aisles to Lord of the Dance.
Everyone was invited to retire to the School Room to join in refreshments and peruse the historic documents and photographs on display. A lunch was served for those who wished to stay.
A wonderful celebration for a wonderful Chapel Anniversary.
